It’s apple season! These little pies are so easy to make and look like you bought them at a bakery! You don’t need to be an avid baker to make these and all you need is a few ingredients.

Mini Apple Pies


  • 6 Honey Crisp apples, cored and diced
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup Dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 4 tbsp AP Flour
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

Crisp Topping

  • 1/4 cup Flour
  • 1/3 cup Rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Melted butter
  • Pinch of salt


  • 1 Sheet puff pastry


  • Add apples to a bowl and squeeze lemon juice on top. Add flour to the apples and mix.
  • To a sauté pan add butter and melt.
  • Add in the apples, season with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Cook until slightly softened and caramelized. Set aside to cool.
  • Mix all of the crisp ingredients together and set aside.
  • Roll out puff pastry and cut into 12 equal portions. Using a cupcake pan, place each piece of puff pastry into each well and press down.
  • Add approximately 1 1/2 Tbsp of Apple filling and top with a crumble. Brush the exposed crust with egg wash.
  • Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
