Easy Instant Pot Ribs
Fall of the bone ribs in 30 minutes!
Ingredients
- 3 lb Rack of pork ribs (baby back or St. Louis style)
Dry Rub
- 3/4 cup Dark brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Chili powder
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Garlic powder
- 2 tsp Smoked paprika
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp Allspice
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
Liquid for Instant Pot
- 1 cup Water
- 3 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Start by removing the silver skin from the back of the ribs.
- Place the ribs on a baking sheet. Mix all of the dry rub ingredients in a bowl, sprinkle half the mixture on one side of the ribs and press it in with your hands. Flip the ribs and do the same thing on the other side. Cover with aluminum foil an refrigerate overnight.
- Place a rack on the bottom or add a ring of crumpled up aluminum foil to the bottom of the instant pot. Add the ribs to the Instant Pot and add the liquid. Place the cover on and set it to pressure cook for 30 minutes.
- Take the ribs out, discard the liquid, and baste the ribs in your favorite BBQ sauce. Place the ribs under the broiler and sear on both sides for a few mins. If you want a crust on all sides, you can cut the ribs, baste them and then broil them.
