Honey Balsamic Ribs
These ribs are tangy, sweet and delicious! Most of the cooking is done in the oven and then they are just kissed by the barbecue to caramelize the glaze. It is so easy to make tender ribs using the low and slow method. Im using baby back ribs on this video but you can also use St. Louis style ribs for this recipe.

Honey Balsamic Ribs
These honey balsamic ribs with have you licking your fingers!
Ingredients
- 2 3lb Racks of Baby Back Ribs
Dry Rub
- 2 tbsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Black Pepper
- 2 tbsp Garlic Powder
- 2 tbsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
Glaze
- 1/2 cup Honey
- 1/3 cup Balsamic Vinegar
Instructions
- Mix the dry rub ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 300℉.
- Clean the ribs by removing that silver skin on the back. This will ensure they are tender and delicious without that chewy skin.
- Evenly sprinkle the rub on both sides of the rib racks. Place on a baking sheet, cover with aluminum foil and bake for 2 hours.
- In the meantime mix the glaze ingredients and set aside.
- Once the ribs are done heat your barbecue to medium high heat. Brush the glaze on both sides of the ribs. Place on the barbecue and caramelize on both sides for a few mins. Save some glaze to brushing afterward.
- Remove from the barbecue and place on platter. Brush the rest of the glaze on the ribs. You can also cut the ribs first and then brush it on.
